Allow PhotoBox to access your photos and videos when prompted.
From Home, choose All Photos, All Videos, Similar Photos, Similar Videos, or start from a month.
While organizing, swipe between items. Keeping, deleting, or adding an item to an album updates your progress.
Review the pending-deletion list. The system deletes items only after your final confirmation.
Similarity results are suggestions. Always review each item before deleting it.
Photo Library Access
PhotoBox needs read and write access to “All Photos” to display, compare, organize, and delete your photos and videos.
Some items are missing
Go to iPhone Settings → Apps → PhotoBox → Photos and select Full Access. With limited access, PhotoBox can process only the items you have selected.
iCloud Photos
PhotoBox uses local thumbnails whenever possible. When you view, play, or compare an original stored only in iCloud, the system may need to download it first. Loading time depends on your network and file size, and the download may use network data.
Downloads are handled by Apple Photos. PhotoBox does not upload your files to a developer-operated server.
Organization, Albums, and Deletion
Adding to an album
The photo or video remains in your system photo library. Albums are a way to organize items, and the same item can appear in multiple albums.
Deleting an album
Deleting an album does not delete the photos or videos inside it.
Deleting photos or videos
Items you confirm for deletion normally move to Recently Deleted in Apple Photos, where they can be recovered or permanently removed during Apple’s retention period.
Similar Photos and Videos
Results are based on on-device visual and time-related features and are intended only as an organization aid. Bursts, screenshots, edited versions, or different files with similar content may appear in one group. A match does not mean the files are exact duplicates.
Groups may change after your photo library changes.
Premium and Restore Purchases
PhotoBox Premium is a one-time purchase with permanent access. When using the same Apple Account, tap Restore Purchases on the purchase screen instead of paying again.
If the price does not load, make sure the device can access the App Store, that you are signed in to your Apple Account, and try again later.
Privacy and On-Device Processing
Photo and video analysis, comparison, and organization are performed on your device and are not uploaded to our servers. See Privacy Policy in the app for details.
